“Getting out of Dodge”

We spent the night at the Gunsmoke Campground in Dodge City, Kansas and washed off the Santa Fe Trail dust at Miss Kitty’s laundry! We’ve been following highway 50 since we left California through the deserts, mountains, and plains and we leave it behind as our route turns south. It’s been a great road for our old cars just as it was for the conestoga wagons 150 years ago. It has been interesting to observe the large scale farm operations of the Midwest. The huge fields of grain and their storage located next to gigantic cattle feed lots and processing plants have done for the food industry what Henry Ford did for the auto industry. It is highly recommended not to adjust the spinal discount viagra from canada column and reestablish its standard anatomical curvature and structure. Ginseng is the best natural alternative to these cheap pfizer viagra raindogscine.com treatments and is quite effective. There is no point in cialis professional for sale buying a zipper pouch having a dysfunctional zipper. A man has to make firm erections if he needs to be physically and sexually http://raindogscine.com/?attachment_id=93 best price for levitra fit. The highway now is straight and flat and the greatest challenge for the driver is staying awake. We pass the time by trying to figure out what crop is growing on the side of the road and guessing what the equipment will be used for being hauled by the big trucks.  What do you think is on the extended trailer in one of the photos.

  1. Looks like that trailer is hauling a blade for a wind turbine. Those rascals sure look a lot smaller when they’re way up there in the sky!

  2. That is definitely a blade off a wind turbine. I saw several of them when passing through Illinois on my way to the Mayo clinic. A man at a rest stop told me that the blades are 88′ long and that the wind turbines are 288′ tall. On the flat bed those blades look even longer. It is good to learn of your progress toward returning to the promised land. Can’t wait to hear all the stories. Tammy, Patty is back in critical care, almost lost her Tuesday but some improvement as of last night. We love you guys. Oscar and Lucky say “Hurry home”
