How it All Started

Alaska Plans on a Napkin by:Danny Godbey

One day on one of our tours we were gathered around a table like we always do, and the subject of driving our cars to Alaska was discussed.  We knew it would take money, retirement and a appetite for seeing new things and places. What Model A person does not want to do that.

Its other advantage is that it can be said that psychotherapy may be tadalafil pharmacy online needed for relevant patients. cialis shipping The products are completely herbal and can easily be ordered online. The MRgFUS is a solution to Uterine Fibroids. At that time to save cost we thought camping would be the fun and less expensive way.  No one thought that would ever happen.  Danny Godbey sat down and drew up the plans on a napkin.  That was 2004.  Those plans started it all.

Retirement was the other drawback.  Tammy and I were still working  and Danny had a few more plans before retiring.  Plans were pushed aside for another four years.  After going through some medical issues and deciding life was precious and she needed to experience more of  it, Tammy approached us with “if you still want to go to Alaska, Danny and I will go with you”.  I could see the gleam in Michael’s eye.  He started that day with plans to build a camper.  He and Danny sent pictures back and forth with all the great ideas they had found on-line.    So here we are 6 days away and it has all come together.

  1. OK, which of you has the most extra room in their teardrop? I have decided to go. I will lash myself to the right front fender like an old Bear and drag my foot when we need to stop during the day. At night surely one of you will let me crowd in if it’s raining or snowing.

    Love ya,
    Allan

  2. Allan, you don’t have to “rough” it – you can just ride in the camper all the way there and back. We put that Model A windshield in the camper just for you so that you could have a scenic view during the entire trip. You will have to vacate the premises at night but just bring along a hammock to string between trees! I am the ultimate camper – NOT!!!!

  3. Mike and Judy, Danny and Tammy,
Be careful, be safe and have the time of your lives! We will be following along with you every day of the trip. If we can do anything to help, please call or email.

    Allan and Gail
